Opened in 2010, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London occupies an envious position set along the South Bank, just over the Thames from the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Essentially circular in shape, the building has been dramatically designed with escalators guiding you to the first floor with its spacious and impressive reception and bar area.
With a choice of over 1,000 ensuite bedrooms with both bath and power shower, the layout of each room has been thoughtfully considered. Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, London Aquarium, London Eye, South Bank, BFI IMAX Cinema, Imperial War Museum, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace are a maximum 20-minutes walk Waterloo Train and Tube Stations are an easy stroll (it took me 10 minutes walking) providing access to the Northern, Bakerloo and Jubilee Tube Lines and number of train routes heading South East of England.
A spa with 8 treatment rooms and a fitness centre with 15-metre swimming pool will open in Summer 2010.
Tip: As the hotel has a circular shape, some rooms may be facing inward, if you prefer a room with a view, ask on check-in and alleged to have been the used by the newly elected Prime Minister and Mrs Cameron over the final day of the May Election.....
