Park Plaza Westminster Bridge,London

"Fantastic Hotel! My children aged 11 and 15 thought it was amazing. Large rooms with large TV. Perfect. Great location near to Westminster Bridge, Big Ben, London Bridge..."

Opened in 2010, Park Plaza Westminster Bridge London occupies an envious position set along the South Bank, just over the Thames from the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben. Essentially circular in shape, the building has been dramatically designed with escalators guiding you to the first floor with its spacious and impressive reception and bar area.
With a choice of over 1,000 ensuite bedrooms with both bath and power shower, the layout of each room has been thoughtfully considered. The main bedroom or suite have flat screen TVs with Satellite channels and tea and coffee making facilities. For business users there is good use of space with desktop access to sockets and cables. Eating in the hotel and you are spoiled for choice, choosing from the signature Bistro dishes from Chef Joel Antunes in 1WB Brasserie whilst Ichi (eee-chi) Sushi and Sashimi Bar are delightfully oriental with fresh and fragrant dishes. Espressamente illy coffee bar and Primo Bar offer light refreshments and a knowledgeable crew of cocktail experts willing to share the menu (or make your own!) . Concierge service, two executive lounges, business centre and Wi-Fi internet access complete the four star facilities.
Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, London Aquarium, London Eye, South Bank, BFI IMAX Cinema, Imperial War Museum, Westminster Abbey, Trafalgar Square and Buckingham Palace are a maximum 20-minutes walk Waterloo Train and Tube Stations are an easy stroll (it took me 10 minutes walking) providing access to the Northern, Bakerloo and Jubilee Tube Lines and number of train routes heading South East of England.
A spa with 8 treatment rooms and a fitness centre with 15-metre swimming pool will open in Summer 2010.
Tip: As the hotel has a circular shape, some rooms may be facing inward, if you prefer a room with a view, ask on check-in and alleged to have been the used by the newly elected Prime Minister and Mrs Cameron over the final day of the May Election.....
